Chad Watt, Advisor
Chad has been helping people with their insurance needs and financial security for 25 years, including positions at TIAA, MassMutual, Putnam Investments and John Hancock. Now Chad is happy to be able to embrace his role as an independent financial advisor and fiduciary who can provide clients with unbiased financial advice.
Chad began his financial services career in Boston and has extensive experience advising individual clients as well as company pension and qualified plans. A licensed insurance agent, Chad is also an expert in personal life, disability and long-term care insurance.
As an advisor, Chad believes in taking a “Plan First, Then Invest” approach and spending time getting to know clients well enough to “Stand in Their Shoes” before making any financial recommendations. And as a true fiduciary, Chad can act as a personal CFO – quarterbacking resources like accountants, attorneys and agents – so clients can focus on their priorities.
Chad has been a youth lacrosse and soccer coach for thirteen years. In the office, he takes this same passion for coaching with clients, helping them to learn more about their finances and guiding them to sound financial decisions.
A graduate of the University of Connecticut, Chad lives in Somers, Connecticut, with his Registered Dietitian wife and their three teen-aged children, who are very involved in sports, music, theatre and other school activities. Chad is a past president of the Somers Lacrosse Association and involved with the Somers Booster Club.
If you don’t find Chad cheering on his kids at a game or concert, he’s probably hiking or enjoying time with his family at Nauset or Coast Guard beaches on Cape Cod.
