Tim Hunter

Tim Hunter is a professor emeritus and founding department head of the Digital Media and Design program and founding director of the Digital Media Center at the University of Connecticut.

For 25 years prior to joining the faculty at UConn, he was CEO of Tim Hunter Design, developing and producing national and international digital media communications programs, digital marketing and experiential design projects through his New York City-based company.

His partial client list includes Boston Children’s Hospital, CNN, Comcast, Commerce Bank, Disney, Euro RSCG Worldwide, ExxonMobil, Facebook, First Republic Bank, Heineken, JCDecuxNA, McCann Erickson Worldgroup, Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Microsoft, Pfizer, The Related Companies, Samsung, Sony BMG, Sports Illustrated, Starbucks, TBS, and Time Warner Inc. and Universal Studios Florida.

Tim received his bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan and an MFA from the Yale School of Drama in 1982.
