Advisor David Smith earns CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification

We are pleased to announce that Wealth Management Advisor David Smith has earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification from the CFP Board. This is a significant accomplishment in David’s financial services career as it signals that he has met the board’s rigorous training and experience requirements and is committed to the high ethical standards required of a fiduciary.

David joined Elevage Partners in 2014 as part of the acquisition of Total Wealth Management, where he served as the back-office operations and portfolio manager for three years. In addition to his current role as a wealth management advisor with Elevage Partners, David has contributed to the firm and its clients in various roles, including trader, portfolio manager and financial planner. That work has given him practical, real-world experiences and has developed his expertise for meeting the financial planning and investment needs of Elevage Partners clients. His immersion into the multi-year study program for CFP® professionals has further honed his skills for taking a comprehensive, personalized approach with clients to bring together all the pieces of their financial lives for today’s needs and tomorrow’s goals.

In addition to his new title, CFP® professional, David holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Ashford University and carries a Series 65 license.
